Privacy Policy

This policy describes how SORA Technology Co., Ltd. ("SORA Technology", "we") handles personal information in connection with the FloodSight platform and this website.

Information we collect

• Account information. When an account is provisioned for your organization we store your name, work email address, organization, and role within FloodSight.
• Simulation data. The parameters you submit (precipitation, duration, study extent, curve number, region) and the outputs the platform generates for your account.
• Demo requests. If you submit the request-a-demo form we collect the name, organization, work email, and region of interest you provide, and use them solely to respond to your request.
• Operational logs. Standard technical logs (such as request identifiers and timestamps) used to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

We use this information to provide and secure FloodSight, to respond to demo requests, to send service emails (such as email verification, password resets, and simulation-completion notices), and — only if you opt in — product updates. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

FloodSight runs on vetted infrastructure providers acting on our behalf: application hosting (Railway), object storage for simulation inputs and outputs (Cloudflare R2), and transactional email (Resend). Each provider processes only what is needed to perform its function.

Retention

Account information and simulation history are retained for the life of your organization's deployment. Simulations you delete are removed from active storage together with their generated outputs. Demo-request submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle the request.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Contact your SORA Technology point of contact, or reach us through the request-a-demo form on this site, and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Changes

We will update this policy as the platform evolves and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to partner agencies directly.
